Q2: Is the 938L available with Tier 3 or only Tier 2?
A: Both Tier 2 (China II) and Tier 3 (China III) are available. Tier 2 is suitable for countries with less strict emission rules (e.g., many African and Southeast Asian nations). Tier 3 is cleaner but still avoids complex aftertreatment systems. Tier 4 / Stage V is not offered on this model.
Q3: What is the real bucket capacity?
A: Standard is 1.8 m³ for general materials (density ~1.6 t/m³). For lighter materials (coal, grain), a 2.0-2.2 m³ bucket is available. For rock, a 1.5 m³ reinforced rock bucket is recommended.
Q4: What is the price range for a new SDLG 938L?

Q5: Can I get a right‑hand drive (RHD) version?
A: Standard production is left‑hand drive (LHD). RHD is available on request with an extended lead time of 4‑6 weeks. Please confirm when ordering.
Q6: What is the fuel consumption?
A: Under normal loading conditions (sand/gravel), fuel consumption is 12 -15 L/hour. The Weichai engine's low‑speed torque curve helps save fuel during heavy digging.
Q7: Do you provide spare parts?
A: Yes. We stock genuine SDLG, Weichai, and Yuchai parts. For bulk orders (3+ units), we include a starter parts kit (filters, belts, seals, brake pads, hoses). SDLG has a global parts distribution network as well.
Q8: How is the loader shipped?
A: Shipped in a 40ft flat rack or open‑top container, partially disassembled (bucket removed, cab lowered if needed). Transit: 25‑45 days to most African, Asian, Middle Eastern, and South American ports.
Q9: What documents do you provide for customs?
A: Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, Certificate of Origin ("Made in China"), export declaration, engine/chassis numbers, and Tier 2/Tier 3 compliance statement (if required).
Q10: What warranty do you offer?
A: 12 months or 2,000 operating hours on engine, transmission, hydraulic system, and axles. Extended warranty available at extra cost.
Q11: Can I inspect before buying?
A: Yes. We provide factory photos, pre‑shipment inspection videos, and live video walkaround. You are also welcome to visit our facility in Shandong Province.
Q12: What is the minimum order quantity?
A: 1 unit is accepted. Volume discounts for 3, 5, 10+ units.

A: Stock unit: 7‑10 days for loading. Custom configuration: 20‑30 days. Sea freight: 25‑45 days.

Q15: Is the SDLG 938L suitable for heavy rock mining?
A: For heavy rock, we recommend the SDLG 956L or 968L (5‑6 ton class). The 938L is best for general construction, sand/gravel, and light mining. With a rock bucket and reinforced guarding, it can handle occasional rock work.
